JOB SUMMARY
The Photography Intern will primarily capture photo content with professional camera gear for club events including matches, a podcast, and the Edgewater Castle Football Foundation, among others. The Photography Intern will receive hands-on experience in many areas of sports media production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture photo content
Edit photo content as needed
Safely and efficiently handle gear setup, tear down, and transportation
Ensure media adheres to club brand guidelines
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure efficient workflows
Communicate professionally with club staff, players, interns, and guests of the club, including professional partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Has a degree in, is majoring/minoring in, or will major/minor in, a related field, i.e. Cinematography, Journalism, Filmmaking, Photography, Media Studies, Multimedia Communications, etc.
An effective and professional communicator, both written and oral
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Outlook, Google software, and photo software like Adobe Photoshop)
Has own access to a computer, computer accessories, the internet, and a photo editing software on-par with Adobe Photoshop
Enthusiasm for Edgewater Castle Football club & Edgewater Castle Football Foundation’s mission and the families we serve
Ability to transport self to assignments
Own access to gear greatly preferred, but not strictly necessary
