Christian Vaaland is originally from Stavanger, Norway, playing soccer for the North Park University Men's Soccer Team and Edgewater Castle FC. Now in his graduate year, the 6'3" defender has started in 57 games during his five year tenure at NPU, recording seven goals and one assist. In 2023, Vaaland was named Second Team All-CCIW selection and Third Team All-Region VIII honors.
