JOB SUMMARY
The Foundation & Youth Programming Intern will assist Edgewater Castle FC’s (ECFC) President’s office & staff with various tasks related to planning and implementing all foundation based Youth Programming initiatives and operations. The Foundation & Youth Programming Intern will receive hands-on experience in many areas of sports administration and community engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the development and management of Foundation Events & Youth Programs
Communicate professionally with partners (Chicago Park District, Chicago Public Schools, Local Elected Officials’ offices, etc.)
Communicate professionally with program attendees, families & fans of ECFC
Support the management of program and coaching schedules
QUALIFICATIONS
Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Youth Sports, Coaching, Sports Management, Business)
An effective and professional communicator, both written and oral
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Outlook)
Enthusiasm for Edgewater Castle Football club & Edgewater Castle Football Foundation’s mission and the families we serve
