CHICAGO — Edgewater Castle FC is proud to unveil the official 2025 Men’s and Women’s First Teams' rosters as the club gears up for a brand new season at a new venue: Hoyne Field. With a dynamic mix of returning veterans and promising new talent, both squads look to compete at higher-than-ever levels and represent Edgewater, Rogers Park, and other northside communities with pride.

Women’s First Team: Ready To Make A Statement

After a breakout season in 2024, which was highlighted by the USASA Region 2 Title win, the Women’s First Team, led by Head Coach Emma Woodley, is looking to raise the bar even higher. Returning stars like winger Natasha Davenport and center-midfielder Kily Egan are accompanied by a blend of local and collegiate stars, all united by a commitment to teamwork, intensity, and continuous growth both on and off the field. With the United Women's Soccer League looking more competitive than ever, Woodley and the Women’s First Team are eager to challenge for the top of the table.

Men’s First Team: Back Better Than Ever

The Men’s First Team are excited to get back into action looking to shake things up. Head Coach Duygu Erdoğan coached the Women’s First Team last year who brought Edgewater Castle their first ever regional trophy. She is taking the reins of the Men’s First Team, bringing the experience needed to drive their push for promotion into the Midwest Premier League’s Heartland Division 1. Coach Duygu leads a group of experienced core players, including defender Quentin “Q” Benedetto and current Loyola University Chicago goalkeeper Aidan Crawford. They are joined by a number of standout signings from both the professional international, collegiate, and local development ranks. With speed, technical skill, and leadership across the field, the Men’s First Team squad is looking to make this summer one to remember.
